Knowledge

For our March Personal Progress Activity we learned about Knowledge value experience #1, which reads:
Learn about the importance of gaining knowledge by reading Proverbs 1:5; 4:7; 2 Nephi 28:30; and Doctrine and Covenants 88:78–80, 118; 90:15; 130:18–19; 131:6. Think about why you need to gain knowledge and understanding about how to apply gospel principles to your present and future home and family life. Write in your journal what you have learned about knowledge, and discuss it with a family member or Young Women leader.
We read all the above scriptures while learning to tie a quilt for Sister Sorensen's new baby. We discussed what kinds of knowledge we can gain now to help our families and prepare for a home and family of our own in the future. Some of these were spritual like developing a regular prayer and scripture study to strengthen our testimony.  Others were temporal, such as learning how to cook or manage your money.

Completed at Activity:  Read above scriptures.  Discussed what knowledge we can gain now to better serve those around us and our future home and families.

To do at Home:  Write in your journal what you have learned about knowledge.  Discuss with a family member or Young Women leader.

Once experience is completed, please let your Personal Progress or Young Women's leaders know.
